I savored this book on many levels, just as I savor Paris. An added bonus for the avid Francophile is the rich vocabulary Mme Ellison uses in describing Kai Phong's first year with her family. This is a great read, and a great re-read. The only part I didn't like was that it ended! I felt somewhat lost when I couldn't find out "what happened next." Bravo, Mme Odile Ellison! Paris, here I come!
