• The second installment has a lot of action and drama. This story depicts Nico in a fallible role. He's not an evil super mafia guy who knows everything about everything. He loves Eve and Matteo, and will do anything to protect t them. Eve is not a strong woman who can't fight gnats out of her behind. She's too whisy washy , she doesn't have enough backbone and loyalty. The ending will keep the reader waiting for the other show to drop. The storyline is really good. I like the chemistry between Nico and Eve. I don't like the dissension that Eve causes. I hope the third installment has Eve fighting back just as hard as Nico to stay safe together.
• Nico and Eve have their baby kidnapped and the action goes from their. How he was kidnapped with both parents in the house is Jamila Jasper writing at her best. This part two is action packed from the beginning until the end. I just loved this mafia romance story. It is definitely a great read. I read this and definitely bought the last story before I finished this story so you can imagine how good this story read.
• Nico and Eve' s story was intriguing. They went through so much running from one MOB family,then another. My heart went to her after her baby was kidnapped. Finding family secrets and about family he didn't h e had. This story was great couldn't put the book down. This is a must read!
• Good storyline sometimes the girl seems to whine to much. I do understand she has fear for her kid but she knew what she was getting herself involved with when she pick Nico.
• Wow what another incredibly written Mafia interracial relationship; can't wait to read the third book in this series. Kudos Ms. Jasper

• I enjoyed reading this book. There was a lot of suspense and I could hardly put it down. It was interesting to see how the plot developed. The key to discovering the family secret was through Edoardo (Nico's half brother). I was happy to see that Nico finally realized that he could no longer live in his home country, Italy. He put his fiancée and his son first and found happiness. I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this book. Great read! JN
