"I just returned from a trip to London. I didn't use any of the entire walks, but I used pieces of many of them. I even noticed someone in one of the pubs with the book. I didn't carry the book around with me, but took pictures of the walking paths so I had them on my phone. It's worth getting if you plan on spending some time in London. I spent 5 nights there and visited over 15 pubs in the book plus took pictures of others. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there are a few mistakes where there are pictures of pubs, but the book is referring to the wrong place. For example, page 98 has a picture of The Narrow Boat, but is labelled as the Earl of Essex. Not the biggest deal, but seems like something that should have been caught. I would still recommend this book."

  • I just returned from a trip to London. I would still recommend this book.
  • It's okay so far. Some of the print is too small. Exclude the pubs you don't have a photo for and reduce the number of pubs in each walk. Most of the little maps of each walk are pretty good. They show tube stops. I would make the book shorter and cheaper, although the subject of pubs in London is kind of an embarrassment of riches. It says 3rd edition on the back but the copyright says 2nd edition, 2013.
  • The best London guide ever! Very well elaborated tour guides across pubs that serve craft beer. The author adds all the historical and important facts about the pubs, a real gem to those exploring Her Majesty's land. A must-have!
